Burning Your Candles Correctly

Burning Your Candles Correctly

Getting NEW CANDLES is always exciting; however, safety is the most important thing to exercise while enjoying your favorite scents! Check out these tips that'll allow you to enjoy your candles while burning them safely:
FIND YOUR FAVORITE SCENTS!
There are many food, bakery, floral and unique aromas to choose from!

TRIM YOUR WICKS.
Keep your wick trimmed to 1/8" before each burn.  Use wick cutters to trim your wicks (or a new pair of nail clippers if you're frugal)!

LET THE WAX POOL.
Each time you burn your candle, allow the entire top layer to become a fragrant pool of liquid wax and you'll get the BIGGEST, boldest scent possible!

BURN IT SAFELY.
Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, keep it out of drafts and anything that could potentially catch fire/flammable. NEVER leave it unattended while lit. Keep away from children and pets.

DO NOT BURN YOUR CANDLE ALL DAY.
Candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours. I bet you didn't know that! =) After burning your candles for a max of 4 hours, it's recommended that you extinguish it, allow it to cool for at least two hours and trim your wick before relighting it. (This goes for ALL candles and not just mines in particular).

KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE.
It's so tempting to burn your favorite candle until there's no more wax left, but I want to advise otherwise. When only 1/2" of wax remains, it's time to let your candle go.

REPEAT STEPS.
Keep going until you've tried them all!
