What is a wax pool?
It’s the melted wax that results from burning your candle. The longer you burn your candle, the larger the wax pool in your candle will get. You can see the wax pool in the candle reaches all the way to the outer edges of the jar and is about 1/4 of an inch deep. That’s exactly what you want when burning candles to get the most life out of your candle.
Lighting a NEW candle:
It is recommended that you burn your candle for a couple of hours when first lighting it. Avoid extinguishing your candle until the wax pool that forms close to the wick reaches the outer edge of the candle. This will allow the top layer of wax to fully melt, ensuring an even burn and a big, bold scent!
